Un-Checkout |
Overview
To check a reservation back into the system after having checked it out, select UnCheck-Out from the Options menu in the Reservations module. Another way to access UnCheck-Out is to click the Reservations menu, then Options, then UnCheck-Out. If a reservation has not been selected, the Find Res screen appears.
Restrictions
A reservation can be checked back in as long as it meets the following criteria:
- The reservation type is "7" or "8";
- The reservation is not Long Term or Monthly;
- The reservation's departure date is equal to the current system date;
- The room that the reservation is checking back into is available; and
- The reservation was not checked-out using Direct Check-In/Check-Out.
- The reservation type is changed to "6";
- The Tape Chart is updated to reflect the check-in;
- Availability is reset for the room number;
- The early departure field is unchecked;
- If RDP's Owner Billing module (R3) is installed, the owner portion on the reservation is reset to 0.00 and the B7DI code (non-revenue reservation - if applicable) created at check-out is deleted;
- If RDP's Environmental (RF), Phone Actuator (RG), Voice Mail (RM), or Enhanced Movie (RI) interfaces are installed, a new check-in message is sent to the appropriate third party software;
- The original check-out time is left on the reservation. This time is overwritten when the reservation is checked-out again; and
- No changes are made to any transactions, reservation dates, or pay flags on the reservation. Any transfers already made to the master or leader remain. If the master and leader flags were changed to IP at check-out, they must be manually reset to the proper pay code using the Change Reservations option.
