Overview

When making a reservation with a group, the group master must be added prior to making the reservation.  When any master option is selected that works on a single group (change, post charge, view transactions, etc.), the Analysis grid is loaded into the main panel with only the selected group showing.  The selected option form (Change, Delete, etc.) displays in front; however the Analysis grid displays in the background.  Once the option is complete (changes made, etc.), that form closes and the grid with the selected group remains.  When the Analysis grid is already in the main panel, Options operate on the group selected from the grid.

Group Masters can be used when:

• An company sends individuals to the property with some charges being direct billed back to the company.
• A group, such as a bus tour or a family reunion, needs a block of rooms.
• An individual or organization has an "account" with the property.
