Overview
Before processing and printing owner statements in RDPWin, the format of the Owner Statement report must be set up. Follow the steps below for configuration assistance:

Determine which statement report to use. From the RDPWin Reporter
main menu, select Reports and the click Owner in the Report Folders list
to view all basic reports available. There are four applicable reports
available for owner statements:
- Statement.rpt &endash; Select this report if the property does not share expenses. Go to Step 3.
- Statement-SharedExpenses.rpt &endash; Select this report if the property does share some expenses with owners. Go to Step 2.
- Statement-SharedExpensesHawaiiTax.rpt &endash; Select this report if the property is in Hawaii and shares some expenses with owners. Go to Step 2.
- Statement-SharedExpensesHawaiiTax-HideTA.rpt &endash; Select this report if the property is in Hawaii, shares some expenses with owners including travel agent commissions, but wants to hide the travel agent commission from the owners. Go to Step 2.

If there are shared expenses, configure the OS Table as set forth below.
If not, go to Step 3.
- In RDPDOS, go to Menu 98 System Manager Functions, select Option 090 Update System Tables, select U to Update Table Records, enter OS at the Enter Table Number prompts, and enter S for sub-record.
- The sub-record is the transaction code S0 &endash; S9 in the B7 (Owner) Ledger.
- Enter a description in Field 1 (Description).
- If using this code, enter Y in Field 2 (In Use).
- If this expense is a certain percentage for all owners and all reservation types, enter the percentage amount in Field 3 (Percentage Rate).
- If this expense varies by owner or reservation type, instead of using Field 3, enter Y in Field 4 (Use OwnerTx). Configuring the OwnerTx file is described below.
- If this expense is only charged to the owner during certain dates, enter a starting date in Field 5 (Starting Date) and an ending date in Field 6 (Ending Date).
- Type F to file the record.

If there are reservation related charges that are NOT shared, configure
the OT Table. If not, go to Step 4.
- In RDPDOS, go to Menu 98 System Manager Functions, select Option 090 Update System Tables, select U to Update Table Records, enter OT at the Enter Table Number prompts, and enter S for sub-record.
- The sub-record is any non-system transaction code in the B7 (Owner) Ledger.
- Enter a description in Field 1 (Description).
- If using this code, enter Y in Field 2 (In Use).
- In Field 3 (Type of Charge), enter "N" if the charge is to be calculated Nightly, "O" if the charge is to be calculated once per reservation, or "P" if the charge is a percentage.
- If this expense is only charged to the owner during certain dates, enter a starting date in Field 4 (Starting Date) and an ending date in Field 5 (Ending Date).
- Enter a Y in the appropriate Fields 6 through 14 to indicate which reservation types will be charged.
- If the reservation has to have a minimum or maximum night in order to be charged this expense, enter the number of nights in Fields 15 (Min Nights) and 16 (Max Nights) accordingly.
- Type F to file the record.

If there are reservation related charges, go to the RDPWin | Owners
| Configuration | Res Related Charges tab. If not, go to Step 5.
- If there are any records in the OT Table or any record in the OS Table with a Y in Field 4 (Use OwnerTx), the OwnerTx file must be configured. If not, go to Step 5.
- In RDPWin, go to the Owners | Configuration |Res Related Charges tab and click the Maintain Reservation Related Owner Charges link.
- Configure the rest of the Res Related Charges tab. Click Res Related Charges for additional information.
- Go to RDPWin | Owners | Configuration | Statement tab and configure each setting appropriately. Click Owner Configuration for Statements for additional information.
- If the property is located in Hawaii, go to RDPWin | Owners | Configuration | Hawaii tab and configure each setting appropriately. Click Owner Statement Configuration for Hawaiian Properties for additional information.
