Carefree Resorts - Logon Names

Overview

These features are specifically designed for Carefree Resorts. For information, please contact RDP Sales.

The Windows Logon determines the RDP Resort for which the user logs in. A cross reference text file must be created with the user's Window Logon name and the resort.

To Enable the Logon Names Features:

Create a text files using Notepad called Carefree.txt. Save this in the RDP root folder.
If the Carefree.txt file, enter the name followed by the 2-digit resort number using one line per name.

Example:

JoeS 03

JaneD-05

Bob=02

Any character or no character can be used between the name and the resort number.
The name is NOT case sensitive.
The name must be unique.
The name can match to only one resort. Do not add users to this file if they will be logging in to more than one resort.
If a name isn't part of a larger name, put it first in the list.

RondaR-03

If a match is found, the resort drop down is set to the matching resort, the resort drop down is disabled, and the server drop down is disabled.
