Overview

The assets area tracks property assets along with location, supplier, cost, and status information for each.  From the Assets screen, users can add and change single or multiple assets, or export the list to Microsoft Excel for additional manipulation and reporting.  The grid displays all assets entered into the system in list form, and Work Order History for each asset is displayed below.  Click grids for general assistance or right-click for features available in Resort Assets. 

Details Tab

Asset Type

Asset Types are defined in Configuration.  Select the appropriate type of asset from the available drop-down.

Part Number

Enter the part number from the physical asset to assist with tracking purposes.

Serial Number

Enter the serial number from the physical asset to assist with tracking purposes.

Vendor

Select the vendor of the asset from the vendor masters.  If the desired vendor is not in the list, one must first be added using Add Vendor Master.

Product Cost

Enter the amount paid by the property to obtain the asset for cost and repair tracking purposes.

Mark-Up Percent (%)

Enter the percentage of mark up to be applied to the asset's Product Cost by the property for billing purposes when repairing or replacing the asset.

Location

Select the location to designate where the asset is to be held (i.e., Room 102, Storage Room B, etc.).

Status

Select from the drop-down to identify the status of the asset such as defective, inventory, or installed.

Comments Tab

Enter any comments necessary for the asset.  Set the Type of Master to Assets on the System | Comment Labels screen to maintain the list of comments.  Asset Comments are defined in Tables N2 to NI.

Notes Tab

Enter any free-text information regarding the asset for historical purposes.
