The Delete Rate Set program can delete a specified room type/room number from a rate sets or can delete the entire rate set altogether. Only rate sets that are not in use by active reservations can be deleted. If a rate set is in use in a rate plan on an active reservation, a warning message appears, informing the users that the deletion is not allowed.

How to Copy Rate Sets

Go to the System menu --> Rates --> Rate Sets --> Delete.
Select the rate set to delete from the Rate Set drop down. Note: the rate cannot be in use by a rate plan with active reservations.
If deleting the entire rate set, check the Delete Entire Rate Set box. Otherwise, the system will allow a room type or room number to be deleted from the rate set.
If deleting a certain room type or room number from the rate set, select it from the Room Type drop down.
Click the Delete button.
Confirm the rate set deletion by clicking Yes.
