Check-In, Totals Reset to Zero

The following procedures are designed for properties that have totals reset to zero upon check-in. The best way to determine if your property falls into this category is if the 'Night Audit' menu is available in RDPWin. If the menu option says 'Day End', follow the Day End Checklist.

Mandatory
  1. Clear House Status Screen (Sleepers, Departures, No-Shows, Arrivals Guaranteed and Not Guaranteed).
  2. Reset Res From Folio on All In-House Reservations.
  3. Bucket Check.
  4. Post Room and Tax.
  5. Run Back-up of RDP System.
  6. Complete any Optional Procedures (see below).
  7. Close the Day.
Optional
  1. Day End Balance/Daily Deposit.
  2. RDP Utilities.
  3. RDP Daily Reports (GLAccountsYTD, TransactionRange for yesterday's date, Arrivals List, Departures List, and House Status List).
