RDP Intelity ICE Interface

Overview

The Intelity ICE Interface is currently used by customers with Intelity's ICE In-Room Concierge product. The interface is implement using web services both the RDP and Intelity side. RDPWin calls the web service to notify Intelity of the guest check-ins, check-outs, and room moves. Intelity calls RDP's IRMPublic Web Service to retrieve room, guest and folio information.

RDP Configuration

Configure the URL to Intelity's web service by adding the C1 table ICEURL subrecord. The URL is obtained from Intelity.
Install the IRM.Net because the IRMPublic web service is included in the installation and is required for the interface.
Test the Intelity interface by checking in a guest. A 'success' record should be logged in the RDPWin Log which can be view from the System menu --> RDPWin Log --> filter the Program column by ICE.
Test the IRMPublic Web Service on the IRM.Net server by browsing to http://irmserver/rdpwincentralsvc/irmpublic.asmx. The page should display the IRMPublicMethods.
Test the IRMPublic methods by browsing to http://irmserver/irmnet/TestIRMPublic/TestPage.aspx.
Enter the data path (as it appears in the IRMNetPath.txt). Contact RDP Support for the login ID and password.

Additional Information

Errors returned by the Intelity web service (called by RDPWin at check-in, check-out, and room moves) are logged in the RDPLOG.dat. To view the log in RDPWin, go to the System menu --> RDPWinWin Log. Filter the Program column to display ICE records.
