The Job: Overview

Hospitality Software Specialists hold a variety of responsibilities including: day to day customer service/support, troubleshooting customer software issues, new customer implementations, training, and more. The person in this position provides status updates to stakeholders on projects and technical issues. This is a multi-dimensional job requiring self-motivation in a constantly changing environment. Growth opportunities include senior specialist positions, sales, and software development.

The Job: Duties

  • Working with customers to address and solve software related problems or questions

  • Training customers on RDP software

  • Installing software upgrades and optional system enhancements

  • Owning open tickets/bugs that must be solved

  • Solving problems using critical thinking

  • Handling difficult customers with grace and patience

  • Creating knowledge-based articles and technical documents

  • Participate in On-Call rotation

The Job’s Qualifications & Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Travel to customer sites to implement software systems

  • Proven ability to manage small to medium sized projects

  • Vail Valley based – we are currently not considering candidates re-locating

  • Quick learner, great attitude, team player

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience with technology and hardware-based products

  • SQL, Crystal Reports. Windows OS’s, Web Development, POS systems, GDS Systems, Credit Card systems

  • Hospitality Experience

  • Customer Service Experience

Position Details

  • Title: Software Specialist

  • Start Date: Mid June

  • Compensation: $50K - $60K DOE
