Buckets
Below is a table reflecting how the buckets in RDP relate
to specific charges that can be administered in RDP. Buckets 4,5,6 and A,B,
C & E are not configurable in DOS therefore if these buckets are being used by
customers they will be restricted as to DOS functions they can execute.

Buckets allow for different tax liabilities to be applied to reservations. Buckets can also be configured to allow for different owner revenue percent accrual on transactions that are in different buckets.
The BV and BU tables are where buckets and percents are configured for owner revenue pertaining to Buckets 4-6.
Table BU - Bucket Descriptions
Each Bucket description defines
whether this bucket is a default. When Default is set to "Y", the charge
is defaulted to be ON and calculates for each reservation type for which it is configured when a reservation is created.
When Default is "N", then a "Y"
must be assigned to each reservation type to which the property wants to apply charge.

Reservation | Configuration | Other Charges tab.
Table BV - Extensions for Other Charges 3 - 7
The BV Table is the extension to the C7 table for Other Charges 3,4,5,6 & 7 (the buckets applicable to these charges are seen above)
The example below shows the OA code as allowing owners with this Owner Pay Code to receive 65% revenue from Other Charges 3 & 4 (i.e., Buckets 4 & 5).
