Enhancements to <F8 - CHANGE>

Added: 7/19/2000 - Version - 12.02 and Higher

Overview

In previous RDP versions, the tax field on a "rate plan only" transaction was set to $0.00 when rate changes were made using the <F8 - CHANGE> feature.  For example, if a charged rate were updated from $104 to $120, as seen below, the "Total Tax" field reset to $0.00 prior to recalculating the total charge.

In order to eliminate confusion regarding the transaction's tax amount, Version 12.02 (revision #103) displays the following message after changing the price on a rate plan only transaction code.

To Enable

Update to Version 12.02, revision #103.

To Disable

This feature is active in all Version 12.02 systems (revision #103 and higher).
