Changing the
Housekeeping Status for Multiple Rooms

Overview
In previous RDP
versions, housekeepers were forced to change the dirty/clean status of each room
individually. Now, with Version 12.02, the housekeeping status of multiple
rooms can be changed using the two new features described below.
Changing All
Rooms
- Use the following steps for
changing the housekeeping status of ALL rooms.
- From the RDP Main Functions
menu, select option "15" - "Housekeeping".
- Select option "206"
- "Change Room Status".
- At the "Status Code
1" field, enter a "D" to view all "Dirty" rooms or
a "C" to view all "Clean" rooms.

- At the "Status Code
2" field, enter an "A" to "Change status of ALL
rooms".

- Next, the system prompts:

Here, press the <ENTER> key to change all rooms to a "Clean"
status or a "D" to change all rooms to a "Dirty" status.
Changing a Range
of Rooms
- In order to change the
housekeeping status for a range of rooms, use the following steps.
- From the RDP Main Functions
menu, select option "15" - "Housekeeping".
- Select option "206"
- "Change Room Status".
- At the "Status Code
1" prompt, enter a "D" to display "Dirty" rooms or
a "C" to display "Clean" rooms.
- At the "Status Code
2" prompt, enter "V" for "Vacant" rooms,
"O" for "Occupied" rooms, "S" for "Stayovers",
"C" for "Checkouts", or "M" for
"Maintenance", or <ENTER> for "All" rooms.
- After rooms are displayed,
enter an "M" to "Mark a Range of Rooms". The
following window displays:

- Enter the beginning and ending
room numbers. Enter the new housekeeping status, "D" for
"Dirty" or <ENTER> for "Clean".

To Disable
This feature is
active in all RDP Version 12.02 systems, revision #100 and higher.
