Switch 424-1: Fiscal Year Totals in the Daily Manager's Report

Overview

A new switch has been added in Version 12.02, #424-1 - Fiscal Year Starting Month for 370 Report, Option 3A. For properties that operate on a fiscal year, enter the number that corresponds to the starting month of the fiscal year in switch #424-1 (i.e. - March = 3). After setting switch #424-1 to the first month of the fiscal year, a new column, Year-to-Date Fiscal, appears on Daily Manager's Report option 3A - Today, Monthly, and Yearly General Ledger Account Number Totals (seen below).

Note that in addition to displaying fiscal totals, the report also displays calendar year totals. Also, this Version 12.02 feature supports fiscal years that begin on the first day of a month, i.e. - switch #424-1 cannot be set to start a fiscal year on the 15th of a specific month.

When running the Daily Manager's report, option 3A (Today, Monthly, and Yearly General Ledger Totals), the following prompt displays, confirming the fiscal year start date.

With switch #424-1 set to "1" the feature described above is inactive and totals are reported on a calendar month only. When running the Daily Manager's report option 3A for a calendar year, the above "Starting Date" changes to January 1, indicating totals are being reported on a calendar year only.

To Enable

Update to Version 12.02, revision #84.
Set switch #424-1 to the beginning month for your property's fiscal year.

Note: Fiscal year totals are reported on the Daily Manager's Reports (370) option 3A - Today, Monthly, and Yearly General Ledger Account totals.

To Disable

Set switch #424-1 to "1".
