Price Field Added to the Daily Charge Window

Added 4/28/00 - Version - 12.02 and Higher

Overview

RDP allows up to 100 transaction codes to be automatically posted each night.  Transaction categories are posted on a reservation-by-reservation basis.  Field #43 on the first reservation screen is used for activating certain transaction categories.  The "Daily Charge" window is seen below.

With the latest release of Version 12.02, revision #74, the price per night column is included in the "Daily Charge" window.  In the example above, the "Parking" transaction category is activated (indicated by the "Y" to the right of the description).  Therefore, transaction codes 23 and 24 will be posted each night.  The sum of transaction codes 23 and 24 is $11.00 per night.

If your property does NOT have a need for automatically posting daily charges on a nightly basis, do not add sub-records to table DD.
