Added: 10/10/02 - Version:  12.02 - Revision:  234 - Article ID#: F000066

There is a new switch, number 419-13, that controls what happens to the "housekeeping status" of the old room when an in-house guest is moved from one room to another.  The possible settings for switch 419-13 are:

Switch
419-13 Setting
Room
Status
Changed
to:
Action Item for Housekeeping
Tidy T The room status of the old room is changed to "T", for "tidy up".  For example, if the guest was only in the room for a few minutes and changed rooms, there is no reason to clean the whole room!
Dirty D The room status of the old room is changed to "D", for "dirty"
NoChg Not changed The room status of the old room is not changed.

To Enable

  1. Use Menu 98, Option 419
  2. Select Switch 13. Each time you enter Switch 13 the system changes to one of Tidy, Dirty, or NoChg.

To Disable

System Manager Switch 419-13: change to "Dirty" status or "NoChg" status.
