RDPWin

RDPWin Checklist - Workstation Tab

Go to RDPWin Checklist Overview

Once RDPWin Pre-installation Checklist is running, click the Workstation tab to view the evaluation of the individual workstation from which it is running.  This system analysis is a tool to be used prior to installation of RDPWin.  There are still instances when RDPWin may run slower than the customer requires.  For more detail, click the Hardware Requirements link on the Workstation tab.

Workstation Name
The workstation name and module information is displayed for identification purposes.
Current and Required
Two columns offer the current workstation details and the RDPWin requirements.
Status
A status of OK signifies all system requirements to run RDPWin have been met.  When standards are not met, the status displays as Failed
Recommendation
The Recommendation section displays whether or not the workstation is powerful enough to run RDPWin.  When all the tests produce an OK result, then the recommendation is that the workstation is powerful enough to run RDPWin.  In general, RDP does not recommend parts be upgraded in order to meet minimum standards.

When the workstation fails any part of the test, the recommendation is to purchase a new workstation.
