Any reference to CRM, Enhanced Housekeeping, Work Orders and Asset Management, Reporter, and Stats will only be appropriate and active if the customer has purchased each of these modules.
Not all new versions of RDPWin are released to customers. When the Updates page offers a version different from those detailed on this page, view the Revisions Index to see what is/was new in the past RDPWin version.
Version 2.040 was the last release for customers using Pervasive Version 8. All new features, bug fixes and enhancements will only be added to the RDPWin Version for Pervasive 9/10. Pervasive 8 customers can use this last release while planning the upgrade to Pervasive 9/10. It is highly recommended that Pervasive is upgraded as soon as possible, as it is required on all future updates.
***System Performance***
Multiple areas of RDPWin have been updated to improve system performance. Customers must follow all of the steps outlined in KWin0080 to take full advantage of the changes.

- Protobase | Configuration | Require CID# on All Non-swiped Credit Cards
- When checked, if payments or authorizations are taken and the credit card is not swiped, the CID# field on the Payment screen is required. When not checked, the field is optional. When the credit card is swiped, the CID# field is disregarded.

- Protobase | Configuration | Interface Settings | Turn on Address Verification on All Non-swiped Credit Cards
- When checked, if payments or authorizations are taken and the credit card is not swiped, the Billing Zip Code field is visible and required for payments and authorizations. When not checked, the Billing Zip Code field does not display on the Payment screen. When the credit card is swiped, the field is disregarded. The billing zip code is not required for refunds, incremental authorizations, or prior authorized sales.

- Configuration | Appearance Tab | Rate Details | Show Rate Plan Requirements
- Existing Rate Plan requirements display in the rates grid. When no requirements exist, the requirements column is not added to grid. When not checked, Rate Plan requirements are not displayed regardless of existence.
- Configuration | Reservations Tab | Assign Rooms According To...
- When Inventory Reservations and Auto Assign a Room Number are selected, the order in which rooms are auto-assigned can also be configured. Choose from the "Assign Rooms according to" dropdown either room number order, last used or custom room number (which uses the custom room order specified on the room masters) The default is room number order.
