Revision 2.091.20 (Released 05/21/09)
Not all new versions of RDPWin are released to customers. When the Updates page offers a version different from those detailed on this page, view the Revisions Index to see what is/was new in the past RDPWin version.
Version 2.040 was the last release for customers using Pervasive Version 8. All new features, bug fixes and enhancements will only be added to the RDPWin Version for Pervasive 9/10. Pervasive 8 customers can use this last release while planning the upgrade to Pervasive 9/10. It is highly recommended that Pervasive is upgraded as soon as possible, as it is required on all future updates.
***System Performance***
Multiple areas of RDPWin have been updated to improve system performance. Customers must follow all of the steps outlined in KWin0080 to take full advantage of the changes.

Reservations
- Groups | Disburse Deposit
- When a group member is selected to make a deposit, all future and in-house reservations in the group are displayed (including the leader if not already selected). Checked-out and cancelled reservations are not displayed. In the case of sharewith reservations, only primary sharewith reservation can receive a deposit disbursement from another member in the group.
- Owners | Timeshare | Timeshare Configuration | Show Days on Tape Chart instead of Weeks (Switch 416-14) (R6 Timeshare & Interval Ownership Module Required)
- When not checked (default setting for timeshare systems), the Tape Chart displays in a weekly format.

The calendar is locked into showing use weeks based on the starting day set in the Timeshare | Configuration. When the entered start date falls in the middle of the week, the system finds the previous start day set in the timeshare configuration. The heading shows the week number and the range of the days of month for that week. This works the same as the owner week calendar which only shows by week.
Customers with a mixed set of starting days (Saturday and Sunday, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, etc.) should turn this feature off by checking this box.
IRM.Net
- Configuration | Appearance Tab | Display Room Rate As | Currency Label $ or USD
- The dollar sign ($) is used as the currency label by default. Set the currency label to USD to override this setting and use US Dollar (USD) on the main reservation page of IRM.Net to label rates and on the reservation summary to label the total and balance due.
- Configuration | Owners Tab | Number of Months to Display | Hide Calendar from Owner Menu
- Select how many months display on the owner calendar by default. Valid settings are from 0 to 24 months. When set to zero (0), the Calendar is hidden from the menu completely.
- Configuration | Owners Tab | Hide Newsletters
- A new checkbox has been added to allow the newsletters link to be hidden from the menu.
- Configuration | Owners Tab | Reservation Listing Page | Hide Reservations from Owner Menu
- A new checkbox has been added to allow the reservations link to be hidden from the menu.
- Configuration | Owners Tab | Hide Make Reservation from Owner Menu
- When checked, the IRM allows owner reservations to be made. This only pertains to those customers with owners of individual units: timeshare and whole ownership condominiums. When not checked, the Make Reservation option is hidden from the Owner menu.
- Configuration | Owners Tab | Work Orders | View Closed Work Orders Only
- When checked, only closed work orders are visible when the View Work Orders link is selected from the Owner menu. When not checked, all work orders, regardless of status, are visible when the View Work Orders link is selected from the Owner menu.
- Configuration | Groups/Agents Tab | Use Alternate Rate Plan if Group Allocation is Depleted
- When checked, select which rate plan to use if the group allocation is booked to capacity. This alternate group rate is only applied to groups with a group block but no Arrival/Departure dates configured. For example, create a group block with a limited number of rooms available at a discounted rate. If the limited number of rooms is reached, but there is still availability in the property, the configured alternate rate is used.
Masters
- Travel Agents | Agent Detail Tab | Bill the Agent for Guest Payment Portion
- Pre-deduct travel agents normally collect the entire amount for the reservation from the guest, keep the agent commission, and send the remainder to the property prior to guest arrival. When checked, the travel agent keeps the remaining amount until the property bills them. At check-in, any outstanding amount will be billed to the travel agent. A B2DM is posted as a payment on the guest folio (Bucket 9) and a B6DM as a receivable on the travel agent master. When the travel agent statement is printed, the travel agent is billed in order to receive the money.
After check-in, any other charges posted to the guest, must be paid for by the guest and not the travel agent.
- Owners | Contracts Tab | Show Expired Contracts
- An expired contract is a contract with an expiration date less than the current RDP system date. When checked, expired contracts are shown in the contract list. The default setting for this checkbox is unchecked. When the selected owner does not have expired contracts, the checkbox is disabled and unchecked.
- Allow Add But Not Change of Owner E-mail on New Owner Reservation (416-08)
- When making an owner reservation, including timeshare owner reservations (Res Type T), and the owner already has an e-mail address, then the e-mail address is displayed on the reservation change screen and is disabled. If the owner does not have an e-mail address filed on the owner master record, then the e-mail address can be entered and the owner master is updated.
When the e-mail address is blank on the owner master, then the e-mail address can be entered on the reservation and the owner master is updated. When an e-mail address exists on the owner master, then the e-mail address is disabled on the reservation -- cannot be changed -- and the owner master is not affected.
System
- Switches | Show Error if Package Component Not Assigned for Room Type (416-45)
- Some properties wish to restrict package rates for particular room types based on whether a package component is defined or not for that room type. When set to Yes, an error message displays when calculating rates and in the yield management screen when making a reservation using a package where the components for that room type are not defined.
