Overview
Pose an informal query on the activity vendor master database. Use
Analysis to view the entire database in one grid (use the scroll bars when
necessary). Analysis is displayed in a grid and has all grid functions. Analysis offers four areas: navigation, reports, the grid, and master detail tabs.
Double-click any row in Analysis grid to open the Change Activity Vendor form. For right-click options available from the Activity Vendor
Analysis, see Right-Click Options.

Find
Use the Find wizard to assist with specific searches. The Activity
Vendor Analysis searches initially by name (the left-most column by default). Click any column header in the grid to change how this feature locates vendors within
Analysis.
When only one activity vendor is displayed in Analysis, the grid can only
search that agent. Therefore, the Find Activity Vendor
screen opens in these instances.
- Find By Name
- To use the Find wizard, more than one agent must be displayed in the
Analysis grid. When sorted by Name (see sample below), enter the letter(s)
of the agent record to be found and click the Find button.
- Find By Vendor#
- Click the Activity Vendor# column to sort the grid by Vendor#. Enter some or all of a vendor number in the Find
Vendor# text box and click Find to display the closest match to the text entered.
- Find By City
- Click the City column to sort the grid by Vendor city. Enter some or all of a city in the Find City text box and
click Find to display the closest match to the text entered.

Show Detail
The detail tabs can be hidden or visible using the
expand
and contract
buttons above the
tabs.

Tabs available for activity vendors are Contact Detail, Vendor Detail, Activities, Comments, Notes and Changes (S7 Change Tracking module required).
