Housekeeping

Configuration | Miscellaneous Tab | Exclude Room Types from Housekeeping
When checked, certain room types can be excluded from housekeeping. Click the Exclude Type button and all room types will display. Place a check in the Exclude box next to each applicable room type. These selected room types will not change to dirty upon check-out, at the close of day, or when a room move occurs. They are excluded from the housekeeping schedule and will always remain clean. Before selecting any rooms types to exclude, change all rooms within that type to clean first. This feature is particularly useful for campground properties, where most campsite do not need housekeeping.

Reservations

Tape Chart | Tape Chart Colors for VIP Guests
New tape chart colors can be designated for each category or VIP guest. Configure the VIP guest categories in the VI Table. Select the color to assign to that category. On the reservation, the VIP field will display a drop with the choices from the VI Table. The color assigned to the VIP category overrides the tape chart colors configured for Preassigned (paying guest) reservations. Note: dark colors can now be used because the system will automatically use the white foreground text for dark colors. Previously, dark colors were hard to read because the text was in black.

System

Switches | Do Not Replace Letter 'P' in GL Account with the First Letter of the Property Code (Switch 425-34)
Set this switch to Yes if the GL account has the letter 'P' and the property code feature for GL accounts is not in use. Otherwise, the system looks for 'PC' at the end of the GL account in order to direct the amount to the correct property code's GL account. If it doesn't find 'PC,' then it looks for the letter 'P.' The first character of the property code will be inserted where the 'P' is found.
