Overview
Pose an informal query on the guest history master database. Use
the Analysis grid to view the entire guest history database in one grid (use the scroll bars when necessary). All grid functions are available from this screen. The
Analysis grid offers four areas: navigation, reports, the grid, and master detail
tabs. Double-click any row in the grid to open the
Change Guest master form. For right-click options available from the Guest History
Analysis grid, see Right-Click Options.
Find
Use the Find wizard to assist with specific searches. The guest history Analysis grid searches by name (the left-most column by default) initially. Click any column header in the grid to change how the Find feature locates within the Analysis grid. When only one guest history master is displayed in the Analysis grid, the grid can only search that record. Therefore, the Find Guest in Guest History screen opens in these instances.
- Find By Name
- To use the Find wizard, more than one guest history record must be displayed in the
Analysis grid.
When the grid is sorted by Name (see sample below), enter the first letter(s)
of the guest to be found and click the Find button.
- Find By CRM Number
- Click the CRM# column to sort the grid by CRM#, enter a number in the Find
CRM#
field, and click Find to display the closest match to the number entered.

Show Detail
The detail tabs can be hidden or visible using the expand
and contract
buttons above the
tabs.

Tabs available for guest history master are Contact Detail, Guest Detail, Comments, Notes, Reservations, and Changes.
