Send an e-mail to the currently selected CRM guest. If no guest
is selected with Send Email is clicked, the Find CRM Guest screen opens
to allow selection. At the "Select E-mail Address" screen,
select from existing e-mail addresses or type one directly into the "Use
this address" text box. Click Close to continue or Cancel to
abort the request and return to the previous screen.
When Close is clicked, the screen closes and opens the E-mail Confirmation
screen which accesses the confirmation form configured to send/confirm
one (Confirmation
Type = Send One or Confirm One). Complete the required fields
and click Send E-mail. (The Cancel button results in not sending
confirmation.)

To preload the email settings, create a new type under Reporter | Configuration
| Confirmation Settings tab. Customers can use this to e-mail a
"Welcome to CRM" type of message. For test purposes, add
a Confirm2, configure the subject as "Welcome to CRM" and set
the Body Report to Reports10/FrequentGuest/SignupEmailBodyReport.rpt.
Change the label to something like "CRM Sign-up". Go to
the CRM | Configuration | Miscellaneous tab and select "CRM Sign-up"
as the Default E-mail Setting.
When sending an email in this manner from the CRM context, the guest’s
CRM number is passed into the report as a parameter and can be used to
link to and access other CRM data.
