The IRM Monitor displays various IRM information and can be accessed using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher as follows:
From Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, type one of the following:
For customers managing several IRM installations on the same fileserver,
the "Choose Property" field is used to switch between configuration options
on each resort. For example, a customer may have three options on the
"Resorts" screen, 01, 02, and 03. These three choices also display in
this drop-down box.
| Choose Language | Properties using our Multiple Languages feature can choose a language from the dropdown. When "Start IRM" or "See File Names" is clicked, the IRM will start, using the files in the folders for the specified language. |

| Refresh &Refresh Rate | The IRM updates the monitor information periodically, based on the Refresh Rate. |
| Login Name | This is the name the IRM uses to Login to the IRM Bridge Server and the Data Server |
| Session ID | Each web server session is assigned a unique session ID number. The number displayed here is for the monitor's session and may be needed by RDP support. |
| Btrieve Client ID | Each IRM session is also assigned a unique "Btrieve Client ID ". Client ID's are assigned a sequential number from 1 to 32,000. Once at 32,000 the number cycles back to 1. This number is also automatically reset when the IRM application or IIS is restarted. |
| Session Count | Number of users with active sessions. The monitor is counted as a session so the lowest number is always one. Check this setting before downing the IRM server so an Internet guest is not disconnected from the IRM in the middle of a session. If a guest using the IRM exits, the session is not cleared for 20 minutes. |
| IRM Directory | Displays where the IRM application is located, which should always be c:\inetpub\wwwroot\irm |
| Current Resort | Displays the data path and resort description for the current RDP data directory. Properties using the IRM for multiple resorts should always note this setting prior to updating IRM settings with the "Choose Property" option in the monitor. |

These files are critical to the correct functioning of the IRM. The size and date of the files are displayed so that RDP support can determine if your IRM has the correct version. |
| E- Mail Server | In order for e-mail confirmations to be delivered to Internet guests, the e-mail system must be installed. Various session e-mails are sent to RDP for tracking purposes and can also be sent to an e-mail address at the property. |
| SDC File Path | The path to the SDC bridge computer for credit card transactions. |
| IRM Options | Click this link to display the main configuration options and password entry box. See IRM Options" below for details. |

| IRM Log Files (hyperlink) | The IRM creates a log file daily. This log file stores various session information, errors generated on the IRM and information regarding confirmations sent. |
| Start IRM (hyperlink) | Starts the IRM. Note: During configuration, use the "See File Names" Option below to start the IRM and view all HTML files that need to be changed. |
| IRM Help (hyperlink) | Link to IRM Help system on www.resortdata.com. An internet connection is required. |
| See File Names | When configuring or editing the IRM Usertext html files it is helpful to see where these files are displayed on the screen. |
| Backup Mode | RDP suggests that "Backup mode" is always set to "OFF". Your tape backup software should be set to "Backup open files" and the IRM should be left up 24 hours a day. Please call RDP Support at 970-845-7108 for details. |
| IRM Reservations Made Today | When the "IRM Reservations Made Today" box is checked, the monitor displays all IRM reservations made today. A cross check is done to be sure the same reservation exists in RDPDOS, if not the text "Check e-mail confirmations for Res#: xxx and verify in RDP." displays. The IRM also displays a summary of IRM business for the day broken down into Number of Reservations Made, Total Nightly Room Charges, Other charges, Travel Agent Commissions and Total Number of People. |
| Brochure Requests Made Today | When checked, the 'Brochure Requests Made Today" box will display all brochure requests made on the current system date. The guest history number, name, address, and e-mail are displayed for each request at the bottom of the Monitor page. Brochure requests can be made with the RDP Wait List module, contact RDP Sales at 970-845-7108 for more information. |
| Application Variables | Do not put a check in the "Application Variables" unless directed by RDP Support. |
| Session Variables | Do not put a check in the "Session Variables" unless directed by RDP Support. |
| Test Master Files | Use this link to verify that files 72, 73, and 75 have been properly rebuilt for e-mail purposes. |
Click the "IRM Configuration Options" link to display the Configuration
Options & Password page. The options on this page are described below.

The Internet Reservation Module (IRM) allows Internet guests to make reservations directly into the RDP system without involvement from the property’s reservation staff. This section provides links to instructions for configuring the IRM after the Windows 2000/2003 bridge server has been installed.
Remember to backup the C:\Inetpub directory every day on the IRM server to avoid losing important files and pictures. See Backup for more details.
