Show Room Numbers in Customer Defined Order

The IRM can be set to display available room types or available room numbers.  When displaying available room numbers, the IRM can now be set to display in one of three orders:

  1. Room Number Order (default)
  2. Owner Rotation Order (equalizes rental revenue amongst owners)
  3. Customer Defined Order

How to Implement Customer Defined Unit Number Order

  1. Update to the version 2.56 or higher of the IRM (click here to go to the update page)
  2. In the IRM options in the Reservations section put a check in the "always assign a room number"
  3. Also put a check in the checkbox for "Show rooms in Customer Defined Sequence"

  4. Using RDPDOS, on menu 98, set switch "109-6" to "142/172 ║ Display in Room Number, Room Type or Customer defined seq.(6) Cust "
  5. Using RDPDOS, on menu 11, option 202, change every room number in the system to have a sequence number in field 20, "Tape Chart Sequence #".  In the example below, room 102 has a sequence number of 0020.  It is important to use "leading zeros" in the sequence.  For example, to show the room in the order 307, 302, 409, 118, assign sequence numbers as follows:
Room # Sequence #
307 0010
302 0020
409 0030
118 0040
