IRM Configuration Options - Owners

For customers managing properties with individual owners, the IRM can be customized for owner reservations.  Specific features are described below.

Allow Owner Reservations

Activate this feature if the IRM is being configured to accept owner reservations.  This feature only pertains to those customers with owners of individual units, timeshare and whole ownership condominiums.

Go Directly to the Owner Login Page

It is possible to configure the IRM to skip the "Access type" page and go directly to the Owner Login screen. From your marketing website a link could be added called " Owner Reservations" . This would allow owners to go directly to their Login screen. To bypass the Access Type screen, use this link from your marketing site:

Use Owner Rotation on Room List Page

In RDP-DOS there is a switch 423-11 - Rotate rooms for owner and guest of owner reservations. This rotation logic also applies to the IRM. 

Show 'Maintenance' as 'Occupied' on owner calendar

Some properties would like to display units on the owners calendar as being " occupied " when they are actually under maintenance. This is an optional switch. In the example below the reservation displayed in red from the 10th through 14th is actually a maintenance reservation.

The Owner calendar displays as follows when the switch is unchecked.

Show total room charges when owners list reservations for their unit  

Use this optional checkbox to allow owners to see total room charges on their future reservations listed on the Owner Menu list. 

Default Owner Rate Plan

Enter the default rate plan used for owner reservations.  The code entered here is a valid rate plan defined with option "186" - "Maintain Variable Packages" in the RDP-DOS system.  Define a rate plan in this field only if the property accepts IRM reservations for condominium or timeshare owners.

Default Guest of Owner Rate Plan

Enter the default rate plan used for guest of owner reservations.  The code entered here is a valid rate plan defined with option "186" - "Maintain Variable Packages" in the RDP-DOS system.  Define a rate plan in this field only if the property accepts IRM reservations for guests of condominium or timeshare owners.

Show Past Reservations & Restrict view of Future Reservations 

The Owner section of the IRM by default displays all future and in-house reservations and no past reservations. When this feature is enabled owners can view past reservations for the current and previous month only. Properties can also restrict owners from viewing all future reservations on the IRM.
