Depositing Transactions from a Remote Workstation

Use the following steps for configuring a remote workstation to deposit credit card transactions

1. Edit the remote workstation's c:\setpb.bat file.
2. Add the following line to the bottom of the setpb.bat file:
   
   SET PBIPC=IP
   
   

   Note:  Many systems are installed with the "SET PBIPC=IP" line added to the setpb.bat file.  However, this line may be preceded by the "REM" command.  If so,  remove the "REM" command in order to activate the remote deposit feature.
   

3. Reboot the remote workstation.
4. Follow steps 1 & 2 above on the credit card server.
5. Reboot the credit card server.
