Guest E-mails with AOL Addresses Returned

Issue

E-mails sent to guests with AOL e-mail addresses are unsuccessful.

Response

Research has found that AOL blocks any e-mails (1) from IP addresses without a reverse DNS, and (2) when the reverse DNS is not configured according to AOL standards.  For example, customers that do not host their own website may have issues because their IP address doesn’t match their main website.
