Night auditors may need to use the Pervasive Monitor to delete connections to the database that may be active in order to run RDP utilities and close the day. RDP was requiring the night auditor to have Administrative rights, but this is no longer necessary.

The Pervasive_Admin option is offered so you can grant users administrative rights to the database engine without granting them administrative rights to the operating system where the database engine resides.
NOTE: You must be logged onto the Windows server as a user with administrative rights. Follow these steps to grant a user administrative-level access for each of the supported operating systems.
