The phone actuator file may be deleted from the system.  It is recreated upon login.  Often times, the main RDP interface program, RDP736 will not start when the actuator file becomes corrupt.  Use the following steps in order to fix this problem.
  1. Open Windows Explorer.
  2. Expand the network drive where RDP is installed, i.e. - F:
  3. Expand the RDP folder.
  4. Open the RDP data folder where the problem exists, i.e. most customers have only one "live" data folder, RDP01.
  5. Delete the Actuator.dat file.
  6. Restart RDP and login.
