Testing and Troubleshooting the IRM with IRMTOOLS.HTM

There are many installation and configuration steps for the
IRM. RDP has developed a tool for testing and troubleshooting the IRM
which is the IRMTOOLS.HTM program. To use IRMTOOLS:
- Login to the Internet Reservation Module bridge computer as Administrator.
- Start Internet Explorer. Select |
File | Open and browse to the following file:
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\IRM\IRMTOOLS.HTM
- Right click the IRMTOOLS.HTM file and select
Open. This should bring up the
IRMTools.ASP page as below:
- Enter the IRM internal IP address and click "
IRM Test Page " ( The
internal address usually begins with a "10" or "192"
number,
such as 10.0.0.1
This should
bring up IRMTest.asp. Note: The internal IP address of the IRM Bridge
must be in the same subnet as the Data Server. For example, the IRM bridge
can be 10.0.0.1 and the Data Server 10.0.0.2. See "IRM

- Select "Get Path", and perform all
tests. Each test has a link to a troubleshooting tips section or use
the links below.
