Copy Rate Plan Cutoffs To different Rate Plans

Logic has been added to the RDP Dos system to allow the ability to copy cutoffs to different rate plans.  Several properties requested this logic be added to the RDP program so that cutoffs would not need to be added individually to each rate plan.  This is especially helpful for properties with a significant number or room types configured in the RDP system.

Example:

A customer has configured the AAA rate plan to cutoff when the property has an occupancy of 50%.  They want to apply this same rule to the AARP rate plan.  This utility can be used to easily copy this cutoff from the AAA rate plan to the AARP rate plan.

Follow these steps to implement this feature:

1. From the System Manager Menu (98), select option 090-U and enter table number "XS".

2. Type "S" for subrecord and enter subrecord "119".

3. Complete the following fields on the subrecord:
   
   
   

4. Check the status of switch # 420-07.  If switch 420-7 is set to "Yes", the sure will be prompted for the rate plan and the room type to be copied.  If switch # 420-7 is set to "No", the user will only be prompted for the rate plan cutoff to be copied.

5. Prior to copying any cutoffs associated with rate plans, confirm travel agent cutoffs are configured as desired.  Travel agent cutoffs will be copied as well.
