Switch 424-9: Prompt for Pre-assign or Inventory when Reserving Additional Rooms

Added: 8/17/2000 - Version - 12.02 and Higher

Setting switch #424-9 to YES in Version 12.02 (revision #109 and higher) adds the following prompt when reserving an additional room with RDP120 power user option "R".

This prompt can be extremely helpful to properties who reserve additional rooms at check-in. For example, assume a property books inventory reservations for airline flight crews weeks in advance. And, at check-in, additional flight crew members arrive unexpectedly. With the above feature, additional rooms may be pre-assigned during the reservation process, eliminating the need to assign room numbers after booking the walk-in reservation.

The default for the above prompt is the reservation type from the original booking.

To Enable

Update to Version 12.02, revision #109.
Set switch #424-9 to YES.

To Disable

Set switch #424-9 to NO.
