Warning: Available DOS memory is less than 530,000 Bytes
The system now provides a warning that the available DOS memory area in a given workstation is less than 530,000 bytes. RDP requires at least 530,000 bytes of available DOS memory or the workstation will hang, crash, and corrupt data. This is a critical problem that must be solved immediately before using that workstation in RDP. Please call RDP Support at 970-845-7108 immediately if you receive this warning!
As a general rule it is very easy to make enough DOS memory available to RDP when using the current version of the Pervasive Database, P.SQL2000i, with Service Pack 4. The new DOS requesters for Win98, (BtrBOX95 with BDOSSTUB) consume very little "DOS" memory. Additionally, the DOS requester for Win2000 and WinXP (BTRDRVR.SYS) also consume little DOS memory.
It is possible to enter the RDP system after receiving the warning for insufficient memory for 30 days to view information. However, do not enter or change any information from any RDP screen. Any changes to any data while in "low memory" mode may cause significant data loss. For example, all existing reservations could be lost.
