I would like to invite you to the 22nd Annual RDP
Customer Conference at the beautiful Lodge at Vail, in Vail, Colorado from
Monday, September 20th through Thursday, September 23, 2004. The conference will
be very exciting, as we will be presenting our new Windows based system,
RDPWin. Customers attending the conference will be given priority for RDPWin
installation, which will be available starting October 1, 2004.
This year we are planning on several guest speakers to
present solutions to problems common to many of our customers, including e-mail
spam control, network security, wireless guest internet access, GDS interfacing,
website marketing and more. All customers should plan on attending the
conference to learn about the upgrade path to RDPWin, and see how to optimize
your system with our new modules and features.
Note: This document is for the 2004 customer conference, from September
20th-24th, 2004. To view the
details of last years conference, (2003), click here.
RDP is offering our two-day Crystal Reports Certification course prior to the conference on Friday, September 17th and Saturday the 18th. This class provides a great opportunity to learn how to improve the look of confirmations, registration cards, guest e-mails, and system reports. We are also offering a one-day class on optimizing the Internet Reservation Module (IRM) on Friday, September 24th (after the conference). Both classes are held at the RDP training center in Vail, with a maximum of 20 students. RDP provides a computer for each student. Details on both classes are included in this document.
If you book your room at the Lodge at Vail, the cost of the
complete 4-day customer conference, including the banquet, BBQ, computer lab,
and all sessions, is $750. If you do not wish to stay at the Lodge at Vail, the
cost will be $900. To thank you for helping RDP meet our room block
requirements, we are also offering a free one-hour consulting session to all
customers who stay at the Lodge at Vail.
Conference questions should be directed to Rita Gale at RDP
at (970) 845-1143 (RitaG@Resortdata.com). To sign up, please complete the
registration form on the last page, and return it to RDP with your check.
Please use one form per attendee. Remember to book your room at the Lodge at
Vail by calling (800) 331-5634 or their direct number at (970) 476-5011. Ask

years, and September is a beautiful time in Vail, one of the world's premier
resorts. The reception, dinner, and BBQ all offer the opportunity to interact
with RDP staff as well as other customers. RDP encourages customers to bring
marketing materials to the conference in order to advertise their properties and
network with similar properties. We look forward to seeing you!

The Global Distribution System (GDS) is a computer network originally designed by the airlines to provide travel agents with access to hotel, condominium, rental car, and airline availability. If your property is signed up with a GDS provider, travel agents can make reservations, without calling the property, by using their GDS connected computer. Additionally, guests can make room reservations from any Internet workstation by using a GDS powered travel website, such as Expedia. Over 20% of all reservations are currently made via the GDS with an increasing percentage each year. This session includes a guest speaker with GDS expertise. Topics include:
